Localisation Specialist - LATAM Spanish speaking

Localisation Specialist, LATAM Spanish Location: Remote in Czechia or hybrid at Prague Office Position Overview: At Alteryx, one of our Localisation team’s objective is to have our users around the globe feel like our products were made with them in mind. As the LATAM Spanish Localisation Specialist, you will be joining the Product Localisation team at Alteryx to support our rapidly growing global presence. As the LATAM Spanish Localisation Specialist on the Product Localisation team, you will ensure that the customer and linguistic experience that we offer through our localised products is one that is sound and well received in the language at hand. In this role, you will work closely with product teams to learn about new features and validate the experience from an international user’s perspective. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Spanish speaking customers are advocated for in the product development org. You will also own the LATAM Spanish linguistic style, tone, and messaging that we display to our users in our localised SKU of products. Through partnership with other language stakeholders in the company and industry research, you will develop these linguistic components and ensure that as we grow as a platform, we maintain consistent linguistic style across our products. What youll do:

• Confirm that the localisation of the UI and user experience for new features is seamless and consistent with what our users would expect.
• Work with product management and attend agile rituals such as planning meetings, demos, and feature kick offs to integrate yourself into the product/dev processes.
• Assist in early confirmation of mockups to ensure designs are compliant to what our Spanish speaking users would expect.
• Participate in early product alphas to start learning about new products/features that are planned to be localized and help drive participation in product betas where localisation testing/customer validation would be appropriate.
• Localise Help content that enables our LATAM Spanish-speaking customers to use and configure our products.
• Proactively engage with other LATAM Spanish-speaking Alteryx stakeholders to allow for opportunities to get in-language product feedback in preparation for localised product launches.
• Build upon linguistic and cultural standards/guidelines, and maintain quality, tone, and voice expectations across the whole localised user product experience.
• Maintain and have language assets and terminology accessible to other language stakeholders at Alteryx to ensure consistency and alignment with the teams that work with our various regions.
• Monitor the LATAM Spanish linguistic quality output using our internal string manager, quality metrics, and provide feedback and context to the LSP translation teams.
• Provide product trainings to our LSP translation teams to improve the translation quality as we grow our localized products.

Required Skills:

• You are a native speaker of LATAM Spanish and have business proficiency in English.
• You have a bachelors degree or 3 years of professional experience in a field related to linguistics, technology, or similar fields.
• You have 2-5 years of professional experience, ideally in localisation or similar fields.
• You bring knowledge of your language’s culture and nuances.
• You are able to multitask and rise to the occasion to help other team members.
• You take the initiative and enjoy working cross-functionally.
• You are a team player and a team builder.
• You thrive in multicultural and diverse environments. You are an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Desirable Skills:

• You have experience with analytic software or have used Alteryx products in a previous role.
• You are savvy about the analytic environment, competitive landscape, and trends in your respective region.
• You have worked with Localization technology and have helped to improve localization processes at a previous company.
