Become a part of our LEGO highly innovative Accounts Receivable (AR) team and build your expertise while contributing building a modern and tech-oriented team of experts with incoming payment solutions, by working for one of the most recognized and loved brands!

Core Responsibilities

The AR Accountant will be responsible for delivering high performance, emphasizing customer service and a process management culture as keys to success.

In this role you will maintain strong relationships with senior partners and demanding customers/service providers. Alongside understanding the value of the services provided and suggesting continuous improvement ideas to enhance productivity and efficiency, you will:

  • Ensure all daily transactional tasks are completed on time.
  • Support the Team Lead with various ad-hoc tasks.
  • Take care of payment posting and supervision of automatic clearing systems.
  • Generate daily reports on unallocated funds.
  • Collaborate closely with Cash App, Operations Teams, and General ledger (GL) including external providers when needed.
  • Raise queries on unclear allocations or deviations from remittance advice.
  • Reconcile GL related to E-commerce Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Ensure timely month-end closing activities.
  • Implement optimization initiatives within functional areas and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

The Accountant plays a crucial role in establishing a sustainable AR department in the BSO. We need development-oriented employees, all eager to engage actively in building a hard-working department, valuing collaboration, process excellence, quality, and fun in everyday life.

This role will have a special focus on our E-com activities (B2C), in addition to standard Cash Application focus for our B2B business.

Do you have what it takes

The ideal candidate will have finance background focusing on optimization and process excellence - robust, resilient, embracing change with a proactive, can-do demeanor. Strong analytical skills are vital, and knowledge of Lean Management would be beneficial. You thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 2+ years of professional working experience, preferably in a related financial role or a position where capabilities are transferable.
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office tools.
  • Good Crisis Management and able to contain issues efficiently with good Problem-Solving skill.
  • Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and developed ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners and collaborators.
  • Confidence in making informed and justifiable decisions for own functional area.
  • Particularly good command of English.
