The Role As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows/VMWare plus in addition Unix/AIX platforms

Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory to integrate business applications, and facilitate CIB’s employees’ day to day work.

• Perform ongoing performance monitoring and resources utilization analysis to ensure that existing resources are utilized efficiently.
• Plan, arrange and perform operating systems/software upgrades and patching, abiding by Change Management cycle.
• Conduct health checks, risk assessments.
• Ensure all platforms and services’ availability in Disaster recovery situations.
• Support in troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL Server with SQL DB Administrator whenever needed.
• Provide support for users, IT vendors, and other administrators during problems troubleshooting, projects, and implementations within scope.
• Participate in writing technical procedures, run books, documentations for Microsoft platform services.

• Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Day-to-day management:

• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Infrastructure Management department to ensure continuity of work

Compliance

• Comply with all relevant regulations

Who You Are Qualifications:

• Fluency in French in English
• Bachelor degree of Engineering, Computer science or its equivalent
• Administrator: Minimum 4-5 years of IT experience in administration role
• Senior Administrator: Minimum 4-5 years of extensive experience in Microsoft administration role
• Good Knowledge in using the following technologies:
• Microsoft software products: (LDAP, Active Directory, IIS, DFS, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High Performance Networking).
• Storage, Security and Networking concepts
• VMWare: ESXi, vCenter, vMotion and DRS
• Citrix Xen App and Desktop technologies
• Operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Linux
• Others: LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High Performance Networking

Recommended Certifications:

• Microsoft Technical Certificates
• VMware Certified Professional
• Citrix technical Certificates

Opening hours: Monday or Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Planned actions in HNO + Regular on-call duty.
