MaR Designer

We are looking for a new colleague for the position of "MaR Designer". The Europe Operations Center is part of ABBs Process Automation division, which provides engineering for units across Europe and employs more than 600 people. It also includes a supply chain management center. In addition to Brno, our branches are also in Ostrava and Plzeň. • Design and creation of design documentation in the environment of CAE/CAD systems (AutoCAD, eBASE)
• Responsible for the design of electrical switchboards, junction boxes, and combiner boxes.
• Responsibility for the concept and readability of project documentation: uses common sense, and good engineering practice
• Cooperation with the client of input documents and their retrospective verification
• Specification of devices using type schemes, based on knowledge and experience in the standard of prepared databanks
• Specification of the equipment range, its definition and possible updating in the database
• Consideration of the environment and IEC standards in the design and retrospective consultation with the client
• Maintaining contact with equipment manufacturers/suppliers, monitoring trends and products on the market, and their application for possible production optimization

• University degree in the field of electrical engineering
• Previous experience in the field of design
• Experience with wiring electrical switchboards is an advantage
• Orientation in drawing documentation (electrical diagrams)
• English language at a communicative level
• Experience with CAE/CAD systems (AutoCAD, eBASE)
