Euro-Center one of the world’s leading claims handling and cost containment companies, servicing customers of Europe’s leading assistance and travel insurance companies and their travellers, is looking for a team member to strengthen their team based in the Czech Republic.

Our current team of 12 employees in Prague handles insurance and assistance claims to a high professional standard in an international office environment on a variety of international projects in collaboration with other Euro-Centres, worldwide.

We are currently looking for candidates to fill the position of Billing Specialist.

Language requirements:

  • Native or Advanced (level C2) knowledge of Spanish

  • Advanced English -speaker with professional fluency

Main responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Communication & claims processing arrangements for medical insurance claims

  • Efficient "start to end" claims handling including data entry and invoice assessment.

  • Provide friendly and outstanding customer service.

  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Work efficiently in a multi-lingual and multi-cultural team

  • Flexible and open-minded to ongoing changes and training

  • Strong computer user skills in Microsoft Office tools

  • Previous work experience in Tourism Medical Assistance, Claims Handling including the billing part, will be an advantage.

  • Experience in working in customer service is an advantage.

  • Empathy towards customers

  • Good level of organization, multi-tasking, and effective time management

  • Flexible and fast thinking, cool-headed in stressful situations

  • Ability to analyse a situation and find a solution.

  • Pro-active and performing well under pressure.

  • Attention to details.

How will your days look like


  • Liaising with our assistance hubs in Prague and Thailand, as well as local offices.

  • Knowing how to process payments in the Euro-Center banking system

  • Applying discounts, savings, medical cuts, and excess – dependent on customer.

  • Registration of invoices, sorting, and allocation for filing as well as entering into system.

  • To carry out tasks and requirements of the role in a professional manner at all times.

  • To understand the policy conditions of Euro-Centre’s various customers, then to know where to find them in the system, when needed.

  • Handling and resolving customer claims as per company procedures and policies.
