We are looking for an experienced Payroll Expert to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing for our organization. The Payroll Expert will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and provide exceptional service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including but not limited to calculating wages, processing payroll adjustments, and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of paychecks.
  • Ensure compliance with all local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Stay informed about payroll laws and regulations changes and implement necessary updates to payroll processes and procedures.
  • Process and reconcile payroll data, including employee attendance, benefits, and deductions.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, discrepancies, and tax-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and seamless integration with other HR and finance systems.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the payroll function.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll processing and compliance activities.
  • Train and mentor stakeholders on payroll questions where needed
What youll bring:
  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in Czech and English, other European languages would be an asset
