Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for Spa Supervisor to join our team at AVA Spa.

About the role

The Reception Desk of the Spa is the hub of the entire operation. Spa Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Spa and fitness, must at all times display professionalism and is required to have consistently positive attitude, knowledge of all facets of the operation and attention to detail. Given the integral nature of the position, the Supervisor’s demeanor must be reflective at all times and of the highest standards exemplified by Four Seasons, also serving as an example and leader to the team.

What to Expect

This position is offered for a definite period of time of 12 months with a possibility to change to unlimited contract, based on your performance. Your trial period will be 3 months.

About You

  • Exceptional proficiency in all Spa related tasks/responsibilities which will include answering phones, booking appointments, checking guests in and out of the facility and completing all shift reports and paperwork.
  • Scheduling of spa team to ensure efficiency in labor cost as well as meeting client’s demand
  • Daily communication to all Spa Team regarding daily/upcoming events through use of daily briefings, pass-on logs, memos, or any other means necessary.
  • Will be involved in and responsible for the training of all new Receptionists according to the requirements of the Spa and People & Culture
  • Supporting the Receptionist, Attendant and Therapist Training Manual with departmental trainers, procedures and new hire testing on a quarterly basis to reflect updates in procedures and tasks.
  • Continual re-training of the spa receptionist, spa therapist and spa attendant.
  • Perform weekly standards testing on receptionist and therapist.
  • Monitoring team performance and assisting with information gathering for performance reviews.
  • Implementing new procedures for the team in order to improve productivity and service delivery.
  • Proactively monitoring the books, and educating team, to ensure:
    • Reservations are complete and correct in order to foresee and prevent glitches and guest complaints resulting in discounted or comped treatments.
    • Reservations are made with regard to productivity to reduce the amount of down time for Providers.
    • Strategic booking practices with regard to productivity and room utilization during peak hours.
    • To encourage the sale of longer treatments and add-ons to improve room yield during slow periods.
    • The outlet is delivering budgeted levels of revenue in both services and retail
    Proactively working with the spa manager to ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet business demands, smooth running of the operation and maintain an open line of communication between the therapist team and the desk staff.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a luxury spa environment
  • Spa and beauty education is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language. Czech is a plus. Must have EU work authorization.
  • Strong management and development skills are essential
