Internal Auditor

Overview: We are looking for Internal Auditor for IDG business units based in Europe, who will drive the business to document and improve their internal control related processes.

• Processing documentation for business processes related to financial reporting.
• Assisting management with the identification of financial reporting risk for processes they oversee.
• Assisting management with the design and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Drafting of memos for internal control design deficiencies.
• Conducting internal control testing for financially relevant operational and IT controls.
• Developing relationships with employees at various levels within the organization.
• Assisting external audit with request related to internal controls and other audit related items.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance from an accredited institution
• Minimum 1 year of experience in either audit, accounting, business or finance or 1 year of experience in a role that dealt with Internal Controls/SOX
• Familiarity with internal controls over financial reporting similar to SOX 404 requirements
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver timely results
• Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization and work independently
• Effective written communication
• Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Risk Management Assurance or other audit Internal Audit affiliated designation is preferred but not required
• Previous Big 4 or large regional firm experience is a plus
