Automation tester

Location: Prague.

We are looking for a software tester for automated and manual testing of client/server applications. The main test subject is an end-to-end testing of an application with HTML UI. We assume a T-shape knowledge with focus on Cypress automated testing. Some knowledge of networking and other general IT skills are required. We expect willingness to learn new things on the edge of devops; the goal is ability to prepare test systems including installation and configuration of server applications. This may include system problem solving as well.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests
• Prepare and document test cases for manual testing
• Execute test cases and report issues
• Identify and document bugs and issues
• Help maintain our documentation
• To gain knowledge of the product and the context in which it will be used

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript)
• Familiarity with testing tools, especially Cypress
• Experience in writing and executing test cases
• English language skills at B2 level

These skills are an advantage

• SQL and databases
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitLab)
• Familiarity with ticket system (Jira, Gitlab, Redmine)
• Video formats and codecs
